Education Opportunities

The Office of Adult Education provides continuing education opportunities for students. We focus on basic skills, high school diploma, HSED preparation, and career readiness.  Programs include high school diploma, HSED classes, basic skills, and Career Readiness Certificate preparation.  We also provide assessments for TABE, HSED, and WIN.

 

  • High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) Preparation
    The HSED program will prepare students for the official GED (HSED) tests.

  • High School Diploma Completion
    Adult Education extends to you the opportunity to earn your remaining high school credits for completion of your secondary school education. 

  • Adult Basic Education
    Take charge of your future.  Williamsburg County Adult Education Program is here to provide you with the skills needed to enhance your lifestyle.  We offer basic skills for adults who need assistance in reading, writing, and math.

    Program participants must meet eligibility requirements as defined by South Carolina Adult Education Program Guidelines.

    WIN (Ready to Work) Assessment
  • WIN System is a comprehensive system for measuring, communicating, and improving the common skills required for success in the workplace.  Adult Education offers classes which can assist you in preparation for the examination.  We also offer the WIN assessment.  Please call or come by the office if you have additional questions or concerns.
